Jack

Did you know how great craft stores are? They are! I bought so much patterned paper from the scrapbooking section for my latest project. Here's a preview:

It's a children's book called When Jack Blew a Bubble. And I'm almost done with it! I've been cutting out paper for days and my little fingers can take no more. I'll post the book in full, glorious paper-cut color in the next few days.

In other news, I started a new job this week. Huzzah! And I'm supposed to go skiing tomorrow, bitter, blustery winds notwithstanding. Also Jen and I watched an awful movie called Legion. What happened to Dennis Quaid? Where did it all go wrong?

Speaking of going wrong, there's a lot of protesting in Wisconsin right now. The governor is trying to break up the unions and supplement the deficit from the public sector. I know I don't live there anymore, but I don't know if I can forgive the state for the loss of Feingold. And that's my political rant for the day. Over and out.
