Here's a children's book I did as part of my thesis project this year. All of the artwork is done in paper-cut style like I've used in a few other past projects. Each image is part of a two-page spread. The lion with the too-long hair. Next I want to do a book about a bored houseplant. Is art imitating life? Yes. Yes it is.

More chalkboard art!
I recently redesigned the chalkboards at a nearby restaurant for their new menu. I've learned a lot since the last time I did chalkboard art and I feel like this time around was a much more confident, efficient experience.
Here they are, squashed into my office. Each board is about 3 feet by 5 feet, like the size of a door. That's a lot of chalk.
I do love those birds. Here's to a happy spring!
